Painel de parede tipo sanduíche de lã de rocha com resistência ao fogo de 50 mm para armazéns

Glostar’s 50mm fire rated rock wool sandwich wall panel is a self-supporting composite wall system built from two pre-coated steel facings and a Class A1 non-combustible rock wool insulation core. It is a common warehouse wall panel thickness choice for logistics parks, distribution centers, workshops, and cold-adjacent industrial buildings that need a balance of fire protection, thermal performance, and fast steel structure installation.

Description

Compared with PU/PIR panels, the rock wool core does not melt or release toxic smoke under fire exposure, making it a preferred wall cladding material for warehouses in markets where fire codes require A-class or B1-class insulation, such as GCC countries, Southeast Asia industrial parks, and South America logistics facilities.

Our exterior sandwich panels are designed to provide reliable thermal insulation, durability, weather resistance and architectural flexibility for industrial, commercial and prefabricated buildings. A wide range of surface patterns is available, including flat, embossed, mini-corrugated, ribbed and reinforced profiles, allowing the metal sandwich panel system to meet different façade and exterior wall design requirements.

The exterior metal sheets can be manufactured from color-coated steel, color-coated aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, film-laminated steel and other metal materials. Different coating systems are also available, including PVDF, High Durability Polyester (HDP), Silicon-Modified Polyester (SMP), Polyester (PE) and nano-particle reinforced PE. These coating options provide different levels of UV resistance, corrosion resistance, color retention and service life, making it easier to select the appropriate solution according to local climate and project conditions.

For demanding exterior applications, PVDF and high-performance coated steel sheets provide enhanced resistance to sunlight, rain, humidity and environmental corrosion. Multiple colors, surface textures and panel profiles can also be customized to match architectural requirements. Combined with an insulated core and precision-formed metal facings, our exterior sandwich panels provide an efficient building envelope solution for factories, warehouses, workshops, logistics centers, commercial buildings, cold storage facilities and other industrial projects.

Rockwool Sandwich Panel Joint & Connection Options

Our rockwool sandwich panels are available with different joint and connection designs to meet various architectural, installation and performance requirements. The precision-engineered joint system helps improve installation efficiency, connection stability and the overall appearance of the finished wall.

Interlocking Joints feature a concealed connection design that allows adjacent sandwich panels to lock securely together. The hidden fixing system creates a clean exterior surface while providing reliable panel alignment and structural stability.

Center Joints use a central connection profile between adjacent panels, providing a secure and precise connection. This design is suitable for projects requiring neat panel divisions, convenient installation and consistent façade alignment.

Decorative Joints create a visible recessed line between panels, adding depth and rhythm to the building façade. The joint width and visual effect can be selected according to architectural design requirements, making it suitable for modern industrial and commercial exterior wall systems.

Different sandwich panel joint systems can be selected according to installation method, façade appearance and project requirements, providing flexible solutions for factories, warehouses, workshops, commercial buildings and other prefabricated building applications.

Why Choose This Rockwool Panel for Warehouse Walls

  • Fire Safety: Class A1 rock wool core, fire resistance from 1 hour up to 4 hours depending on thickness and structure.
  • Thermal Insulation: Thermal conductivity ≈0.040-0.044 W/(m·K), reduces HVAC load in warehouses.
  • Sound Absorption: Fibrous rock wool structure gives strong acoustic performance versus foam cores.
  • Fast Installation: Tongue-and-groove concealed fastener joints, lightweight for quick steel structure assembly.
  • Corrosion Resistance: PPGI/PPGL/Galvalume steel facing with polyester, PVDF, or SMP coating options for humid or coastal environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 50mm rock wool panel thick enough for warehouse walls?
50mm is a common minimum thickness for non-fire-rated internal partitions or mild climates. For primary exterior warehouse walls or fire compartment walls with higher fire resistance requirements, 75-100mm is more common. We help buyers select thickness based on local fire code and climate.

What is the difference between rock wool and PU/PIR sandwich panels?
Rock wool is Class A1 non-combustible and does not melt or drip under fire, while PU/PIR is combustible foam that offers higher insulation value per mm but lower fire performance. Rock wool is preferred where fire code compliance is the priority.

Can panel length, width, and coating be customized?
Yes. Length, steel coating type (PE/PVDF/SMP), color, and surface profile can be customized to match project specifications and climate conditions.

Do you provide fire test reports and certificates?
Yes, fire resistance and reaction-to-fire test reports are available on request to support project approvals and tender documentation.
